Philosophy of Human Existence and the Possibility of Collapse
evolving Curiosity
As humans evolved, they moved from merely surviving each day to striving for peace and purpose in an increasingly globalized world. Yet, one persistent question lingers in the minds of many: What is the identity and purpose of human existence?
“Whatever is born will die one day; the significance lies in how the time in between is utilized.”
Nature has endowed all living organisms with the drive to ensure the continuity of their existence, primarily through reproduction and the protection of offspring. Humans, however, take this a step further: while ensuring the survival of their physical forms, they also prioritize the preservation and transmission of knowledge.
The risk of extinction is not a mere fairy tale but a tangible and pressing concern. Humanity's survival is precarious in the grand scale of the universe, where our existence is insignificant in size but profound in its ability to question and understand. Through philosophy and the scientific method—a process of trial and error—we attempt to comprehend the universe's complexities and secure our place within it.
